The Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (WCSPP), a nonprofit organization, was chartered in 1974 by the Regents of the University of the State of New York WCSPP was the brainchild of a small group of eminent psychoanalysts who valued pluralistic psychoanalytic training set in a strong and vibrant professional community The vision of its founders continues today at WCSPP, with its deep commitment to the rigorous academic training of clinicians amid open discussion of multiple psychoanalytic perspectives WCSPP has continually moved forward to develop new programs that meet the changing needs of mental health professionals and to expand its Psychotherapy Service to best serve individuals in need of psychoanalysis and psychotherapy?
