The Drug and Alcohol Program is carefully managed by an experienced mulit-discipliinary team who specialise in the care of patients with chemical dependencies. A pre-admission assessment is conducted to determine the typw of withdrawal regime required and the direction of the treatment for drug withdrawal. Referral for assessment to the Drug and Alcohol Unit for alchohol withdrawal can be on a self referral basis.
