Shepherd’s Field Rehabilitation Centre is a Christian based organization for treatment of people with alcohol and drug abuse problems. In 1997 Oom Gerrie bought land near St. Albans with the idea of starting a kibbutz. However, the first resident was an alcoholic, a drug addict and a satanist. It was clear to Oom Gerrie that God had another plan. Shepherd's Field was established in 2000 as a Rehabilitation Centre.
