Needs for mental health support vary from individual to individual and may be one-off, or ongoing. Some people experience mental illness only once and then fully recover, for others living with mental illness is part of everyday life. Living with mental illness affects how a person thinks, feels, behaves, and interacts. It also affects their ability to go about daily life and look after other health needs. Our range of mental health support services and programs have a strong recovery orientation. We support clients to live a meaningful life beyond the effects of having a mental illness or mental health issues. People with mental illness can access daily living support to enable them to live at home, and assistance and support with participating in the community. These services provide the building blocks for people to make choices and set goals on how they want to live.
