Hello! This is my first blog and I am excited to share for you all. A big issue in society today is bullying. And unfortunately, it's not just bullying in schools anymore. With the rise of social media in recent years, cyberbullying has increased a tremendous amount. Bullying in general is a terrible thing that no one should have to go through. I have had experiences with bullying and it makes you feel terrible. I like to live by the saying, "If you see something, say something". Although it may be scary to speak up, you could be helping that person out so much! I remember the feeling of being lost and sad, and it was honestly one of the worst moments in my life. Just know that if you ever are experiencing bullying, it's ok to reach out to someone and tell them how you're feeling. For me, that person was my mom. She was always there for me and helped me through so much. If there is a person in your life that makes you feel good and happy about yourself, keep them close to you. It is so much better to surround yourself with people that actually appreciate you, rather than friends who treat you terribly and partake in cyberbullying!
